Patrick Planter is a Jamaican-born visual artist based in Zürich. Since 2020, his Shade Series has explored identity and transformation through Photographic Light Assemblage: layering photographic gels and translucent materials on illuminated surfaces, then photographing them. His practice brings together photography, colour and geometric form.
